The Hydraulic Engineering Symposium Graz 2024 follows a long-standing tradition of events in this series and is organized in scientific cooperation with the Chair and Research Institute for Hydraulic Engineering at the Technical University of Munich and the Research Institute for Hydraulic Engineering, Hydrology and Glaciology at ETH Zurich. The symposium is supported by
renowned institutions.Hydraulic engineering implements major infrastructure projects in the area of conflict between ecology, the public and the economy. Theoretical and practical aspects of hydraulic engineering tasks will be presented and discussed at the Graz 2024 symposium. In technical terms, these challenges are assigned to hydraulic issues, flood protection, hydropower expansion through high- and low-pressure plants, water management, the operation of plants and ecological aspects.The  interdisciplinary approach to practicing public relations work is taken into
