Valuable buildings from the recent past are increasingly falling victim to the pickaxe, because the protection of historical monuments has been very reluctant to address architecture after 1945. “SOS Grazer Schule” documents 127 Graz buildings from the 2nd half of the 20th century, which are not (yet) listed, are located outside the old town protection zones and which are worthwhile as important elements of the Cityscape and significant architectural documents to be preserved. The publication in the form of a newspaper results from a course at the Institute for Architectural Theory, Art History and Cultural Studies at Graz University of Technology in the winter semester 2021/22.
