Verlag der Technischen Universität Graz (also: Verlag der TU Graz) was founded in the early 1990s. Due to our many years of experience, we are able to advise members of our university on their publishing processes. Therefore, we provide a viable alternative to commercial publishing houses. We offer young researchers in particular a cost-effective opportunity to make their achievements known internationally.

The publishing program corresponds to the subject range of TU Graz and offers publications on architecture, civil engineering sciences, mechanical engineering and economic sciences, electrical and information engineering, mathematics, physics and geodesy, technical chemistry, chemical and process engineering, biotechnology, computer science and biomedical engineering.

Supporting Open Access is an important element of publishing work. To ensure (that) scientific works are freely accessible, many of our titles are available as free e-books. Verlag der Technischen Universität Graz is also a part of a working group of university publishing houses (AG Universitätsverlage). One of its central aims is to promote the principle of Open Access.
